Just Say No. The American Community Survey

Just Say No. The American Community Survey
The American Community Survey ins and outs are not well understood. Occupants residing in a selected sample address Do Not have to provide names, social security numbers. Phone numbers are requested. The data is fed into statistical profiling. Try and find your name in the statistical profiling. This will not happen. There are no names in the statistical base. The statistical information is used to apportion funding for essential medical, educational and housing services through the Federal, state and local governments.
The United States Census Bureau cannot extract information from other Federal Services, nor does the Census Bureau provide names and personal information on an individual basis to any other Federal,State or Local Agency.
The questions in the American Community Survey follow in a logical and scientific progression. If one has questions about the legitimacy of the questions ask the Field Representative why that question /answer is needed or call the toll free number.
If a Field Representative from the United States Census Bureau knocks at your residence, ask for valid id, and a business card. Ask the Field Representative for the supervisory contact and the phone number to speak with the Regional American Community Survey.
Engage and empower yourself. Go to the American Community Survey website or ask someone to view the statistical information there.
Not once in any of the comments have I perceived any intelligent inquiries.
It seems our cultural consciousness is lazy complaining and wanting more without graceful attitudes. There is ample information available to citizens who are carrying the load. I suggest more pro active participation from a positive perspective.
